Residency Opportunity in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology

Finn Pathologists, in collaboration with the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), UK, invites applications for a four-year residency position in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology. The successful candidate will spend time at both Finn Pathologists' laboratory in Suffolk and RVC's Hawkshead Campus during the training programme.

Scope and Training Objectives

  • To prepare the candidate for the certifying examinations administered by The American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP).
  • To obtain practical experience of diagnostic pathology in a commercial laboratory setting alongside a traditional academic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in diagnostic pathology and be proficient in trimming and assessing gross specimens. Throughout the programme, you will be supported by an Academic Residency Trainee Supervisor and work alongside experienced veterinary pathologists.

  • A starting salary of £33,000 with yearly increments subject to progress and performance.
  • Five weeks annual leave plus public holidays, study leave, funding of MRCVS fees, VDS membership, and examination fees.

We offer a fully funded Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship for overseas candidates who are eligible to register with the RCVS, proficient in English, and have the legal right to work in the UK.
