  • Have a working knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and the Mental Health Welsh Measure legislation.

  • Significant post-registration experience in Old Age psychiatry. \t
  • Skilled in risk assessment and risk management. \t
  • Understanding of contemporary approaches and developments in mental health. \t
  • Post-qualification training in relevant areas. \t
  • Understanding of the CHC process. \t
  • Committed to professional development. \t
  • Hospital community mental health experience with older people.
