About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our Older Adults Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment, care, and treatment planning for older adults experiencing mental health issues.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of older adults and develop personalized care plans.
  2. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.
  3. Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Welsh Measure.

Requirements
  • Significant post-registration experience in Old Age psychiatry.
  • Registered professional with relevant qualifications and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
