Job Title: Medicines Management Dispensing Assistant
This exciting opportunity is available at Royal Preston Hospital or Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists and technicians in dispensing medicines and maintaining accurate stock levels.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists and technicians in dispensing medicines to patients.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reorder medicines as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of medicine usage and stock levels.
- Communicate effectively with patients and nursing staff regarding medicines and pharmacy services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Familiarity with pharmacy IT systems and software.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position will be £25,500-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.
