We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integrated Transport Manager to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our Highways Service, you will play a crucial role in delivering traffic improvement and road safety schemes, as well as managing the Integrated Transport Team.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement traffic calming, accessibility, and road safety schemes, including associated traffic regulation orders.
  • Investigate requests for new highway infrastructure, such as traffic signs and road markings, pedestrian crossings, and other low-cost highway improvements.
  • Work closely with Senior Officers, elected members, and other Council teams to ensure that the management and improvement of the network support Council priorities and policy documents.
  • Analyze statistical data and write policy and strategy documents to inform decision-making.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally with a traffic engineering/management background.
  • Significant in-depth knowledge of highway and traffic legislation and regulations, including the Highways Act, the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions, and the Traffic Management Act.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a complex environment.
