We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integrated Transport Manager to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our Traffic Management Service, you will play a crucial role in delivering our Highways Service and managing the Integrated Transport Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of the Highways Service and manage the Integrated Transport Team, working closely with the Head of Traffic Management.
- Develop and implement traffic calming, accessibility, and road safety schemes, as well as associated traffic regulation orders.
- Investigate requests for new highway infrastructure, such as traffic signs and road markings, pedestrian crossings, and other low-cost highway improvements.
- Assist the Highways PMO team in developing the Council's annual programme and long-term strategy for scheme delivery.
- Work closely with Senior Officers, elected members, and other Council teams to ensure that the management and improvement of the network support Council priorities and policy documents.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally with a traffic engineering/management background.
- Significant in-depth knowledge of highway and traffic legislation and regulations, including the Highways Act, Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions, and the Traffic Management Act.
- Ability to analyze statistical data, write policy and strategy documents, and work in a complex environment.
- Strong communication skills and an organized, team-focused approach.
