About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker in Spalding Area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will provide supporting services in the community at the people we support's home. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting people to live independently by assisting with daily activities, budget management, and cooking healthy meals.
  • Providing excellent communication skills and relationship building to promote positive relationships and understanding of the world around them.
  • Community & Social Inclusion - supporting individuals to access and participate in local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
  • Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day, including prompting medication and assistance with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Benefits
  • Estimated salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
