We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker in Spalding Area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
As a Support Worker, you will provide supporting services in the community at the people we support's home. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting people to live independently by assisting with daily activities, budget management, and cooking healthy meals.
- Providing excellent communication skills and relationship building to promote positive relationships and understanding of the world around them.
- Community & Social Inclusion - supporting individuals to access and participate in local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
- Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day, including prompting medication and assistance with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Estimated salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
- 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) + pension and holiday buying options.
