Your expertise in operational management, combined with your passion for delivering high-quality care, will propel our service forward. With a focus on regulatory compliance, you will guarantee that our service consistently meets or surpasses CQC standards.
Responsibilities:
- Service Development: Spearhead the development and implementation of personalized care plans, prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and person-centered care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to CQC standards, preparing for and managing inspections to ensure continued excellence.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of care professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee the financial aspects of the service, ensuring efficient resource allocation and budgeting.
- Safeguarding Protocols: Uphold the highest ethical standards, implementing robust safeguarding protocols to protect the welfare of service users.
- Crisis Resolution: Effectively manage high-pressure situations, empowering staff to provide compassionate support during emergencies.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Build and maintain strong relationships with families, external professionals, and regulatory bodies, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and report on the quality of care delivered, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Manager, preferably in a supported living or similar setting, managing individuals with complex needs.
- Qualifications: A Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (Adult Care) or a commitment to achieving this qualification.
- CQC Understanding: Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations and a proven ability to ensure compliance.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading teams, with a strong capacity to motivate, support, and develop staff.
- Crisis Management Skills: Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage crises when service users require urgent support.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling seamless interaction with service users, families, professionals, and regulatory bodies.
- Safeguarding Expertise: In-depth understanding of safeguarding policies and practices, with a commitment to protecting the safety and well-being of service users.
- Financial Literacy: Experience with budgeting and financial planning, ensuring efficient resource allocation while maintaining high care standards.
