Autonomous Vehicle Software Engineer

Your Role
We seek a skilled software engineer to join our team, leveraging their experience in controls and vehicle integration to design and develop software that seamlessly integrates our autonomy stack into customer and development vehicles.
- Contribute to the development of core control algorithms and associated tools to maximize control performance across the fleet and optimize new vehicle deployments.
- Be part of a team that embodies innovation, working with customers and suppliers to achieve Universal Autonomy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions, suggesting and discussing approaches to solve complex problems, and participating in code reviews and pair programming.
- Contribute to agile sprint cycles, ensuring timely delivery, including planning, reviewing, and identifying risk or scope creep against project requirements.
- A degree in engineering and professional experience in software engineering, control systems, and/or systems integration for robotics, motorsport, or automotive.
- Production-level C++ development experience.
- Experience working with vehicle networks.
- A proven track record of leading and delivering projects as part of a team.
- Experience using MATLAB/Simulink for automotive software development.
- Experience testing work in the field or on the track.
- An understanding of automotive software development and validation practices.
