About the Role:

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including private healthcare, life assurance, and a flexible benefits fund. Our Oxford office provides a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers responsible for integrating autonomous vehicle hardware and software components.
  • Oversee system integration, ensuring seamless operation, optimal performance, and quality assurance of installations.
  • Lead the team in physical construction of autonomous vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and sensor system installations.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to autonomous vehicle systems, CAN bus architecture, and Drive By Wire systems.
  • Identify and implement improvements to build and support processes, enhancing efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the autonomous vehicle or robotics industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle hardware and software systems, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, partners, and customers.
