**Job Title:** Autonomous Vehicle Technologist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in Oxford, UK. As a key member of our innovative team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of logistics by working on advanced autonomous vehicle projects.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Install and integrate autonomous systems, sensors, and control units into various vehicle platforms used in logistics operations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on both traditional and autonomous vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in autonomous logistics vehicles.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work accurately, ensuring clear records for future reference.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in autonomous vehicle technology and apply this knowledge to maintain and enhance logistics vehicle performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a strong background in maintenance and repair across various vehicle platforms, especially logistics vehicles such as trucks, vans, and commercial vehicles.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills across a range of vehicle platforms.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and vehicle specifications.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software used in modern vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with vehicle communication networks (e.g., CAN bus) and electronic control units (ECUs).
  • Certification or formal training in automotive technology, with a focus on logistics vehicles or autonomous systems.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of approximately **£50,000 - £60,000 per annum**, subject to skills and experience.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • 30 days holiday per annum plus public holidays.
