Key Responsibilities

As an IP Administrator at Marks & Clerk, you will play a vital role in assisting patent attorneys in accordance with official rules and regulations. You will be responsible for processing incoming communications, generating and forwarding documentation, and searching for files and filing electronic correspondence in our Document Management System. Additionally, you will monitor due date and reminder lists, liaise with external parties, and record service charges and generate invoices when applicable. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure that our clients receive a timely and efficient service.

Technical Requirements

The successful candidate will have previous administrative or legal secretarial experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and good IT skills including MS Office and Outlook. Experience with document management systems and IP knowledge are preferred but not essential. You will be able to demonstrate a self-motivated and proactive attitude, a methodical approach with excellent attention to detail, and strong organization and prioritization skills.
