Project Planning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Project Planning Engineer to join our team at aaa | consulting. This role will play a crucial part in facilitating the development and control of project planning and scheduling within our projects department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, assessing project status throughout the life cycle.
  • Establish and monitor cost breakdown structures, analyzing cost performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Review and evaluate project status against schedule and cost baselines, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Integrate project risks into the project schedule, performing routine risk analysis to ensure proactive management.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurately recorded and stored within the relevant teams' rooms.
  • Conduct site visits to aid in the estimating process and during the execution phase of projects, fostering collaboration with colleagues and clients.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of maintenance management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Office, Project, and PowerPoint, as well as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management systems and integrated Work Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with Association of Project Management (APM) methodologies and accredited Project Fundamentals Qualification (APM) certified.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large datasets, creating clear and concise reports using pivot tables.

As a Project Planning Engineer at aaa | consulting, you will work closely with our Projects Controls Lead and Project Manager, ensuring compliance with our Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Quality, and Energy Management Policy. You will play an active role in compliance and improvement of our Management Systems.
