About the Role:
    We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Senior ADHD Nurse Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly specialist, multi-disciplinary team providing diagnostic assessments and pharmacological treatment for adults with ADHD. The successful candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to work as an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber and have substantial post-qualification experience in mental health conditions.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of adult patients with ADHD, developing and implementing therapeutic care plans, and promoting patient engagement and empowerment. They will also lead and participate in training, education, and orientation programs for staff, students, and other stakeholders. Additionally, they will proactively develop, implement, and monitor public health and health promotion activities aligned with national and local priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
    
  • Conduct thorough assessments of adult patients with ADHD, considering various factors such as physical, mental health, and social needs.
  • Design and implement individualized care plans that incorporate non-pharmacological interventions and treatments tailored to each patient's unique requirements.
  • Foster collaboration with other healthcare professionals to guarantee effective care plans and treatments are established for complex patients.
  • Educate and support patients to enable them to manage their condition efficiently.
  • Participate in and lead educational programs for staff, students, and other stakeholders.
  • Initiate and oversee public health and health promotion initiatives consistent with national and local goals.
