Job Title: Senior Nurse Practitioner - ADHD Service Lead

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse Practitioner to lead our ADHD service at the NHS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans for adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as providing expert clinical assessments and interventions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, with experience in leading and managing teams, as well as conducting risk assessments and managing patient safety. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for adults with ADHD
  • Provide expert clinical assessments and interventions
  • Lead and manage the development of services, new ways of working, and the implementation of change
  • Develop and deliver non-pharmacological interventions and treatments for adult ADHD
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage patient safety

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with live NMC Registration and recorded prescribing qualification
  • Independent Non-Medical Prescriber with clear demonstrable knowledge and skills and extensive previous experience relating to prescribing
  • Training in assessment and treatment of ADHD
