Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education - Kent. The successful candidate will support students with special educational needs in a vibrant school setting, providing individualised and small-group support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their academic and social goals.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN specialists to develop tailored interventions based on individual education plans (IEPs). Your contributions will make a real difference in the learning journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised and small-group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored interventions based on individual education plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
  • A compassionate and flexible approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to your own car is essential.
