This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team at Hastings Direct. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to Consumer Duty regulations and vulnerability guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Interpreting regulatory requirements and applying them practically to different business areas, sharing outputs with clear findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with business areas to gather and review evidence of regulatory compliance, summarising key points and any areas of concern.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve customer outcomes and reduce the risk of harm.
  • Creating clear and concise reports for Senior Management, including customer outcome assessments activity updates and outputs.
  • Embedding customer conduct and outcome oversight knowledge across the business, developing communications and working closely with Learning and Development.
Requirements
  • A deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly in relation to Consumer Duty regulations and vulnerability guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and MI effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
