About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of store standards, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and service targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Restock shelves, maintain store displays, and ensure a clean and tidy store environment
  • Process customer transactions, handle cash and operate a till
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and service targets
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to drive sales and customer engagement

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash
  • Ability to lift and move stock, and work in a fast-paced environment
