About the Role



We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Identify Solutions, a market leader in providing insights and delivering value to managers of renewable energy projects. As a key member of our UK sales team, you will be responsible for growing and expanding our client base by finding and converting new generator accounts in the renewable energy sector.



Your Key Responsibilities




  • Identify and target new owners of renewable energy projects to support customers in optimizing the sale of their electricity.
  • Take full ownership of a business development pipeline, delivering exceptional value to clients through a relationship-focused sales process.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the UK power market and communicate market insights to our clients.
  • Build strong client relationships through regular communication, in-person meetings, and networking at industry events.
  • Explore innovative ways to add value to our clients through consultancy, reporting, and optimization services.


Requirements




  • Commercially focused with a proven track record of delivering outstanding sales results and exceptional client service.
  • 2-10 years of business development experience in the energy sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience pitching to company directors or equivalent.
  • Motivated and driven to deliver exceptional service to our clients and develop long-term relationships.
  • Confident in presenting complex data sets to deliver high-level insights and analytics to key clients.
  • Based in the UK, with a preference for candidates based in Bristol or locations that can conveniently travel to Bristol and London.
  • Passionate about sustainability and accelerating the journey to net-zero.
