About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Corporate Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for safeguarding people and assets across our client sites. Your primary objective will be to provide top-notch security services, ensuring the safety and security of employees, property, and assets in line with specific customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular security patrols to prevent unauthorized access, monitor alarms and CCTV, and ensure the security of client premises.
  • Access Control: Manage keys, perform locking and unlocking duties, and issue visitor and contractor passes as per client requirements.
  • Emergency Response: Provide support to staff, visitors, and contractors in emergency situations, ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, and report hazards and accidents.
  • Security Equipment: Operate security equipment, conduct routine tests, and ensure proper management of all equipment provided.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain logbooks and records, handle lost property, and provide detailed reports on security incidents.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving license and own transport.
  • RTW and 5yr checkable history.
  • No current criminal convictions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, and be available to cover shifts at short notice.
  • Eligibility to hold SC security clearance.
  • Prior experience as a Security Officer in the Security industry is desirable.
  • A First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
