Triton Risk Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mines Rescue Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for providing enhanced security services and responding to emergency situations in a mines rescue capacity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a professional and proactive security service to clients, engaging with them to understand their needs and concerns.
- Respond to emergency situations, reporting to the Mines Rescue Captain for instructions and taking charge of securing the scene and evacuating personnel.
- Assist in stabilizing the area, making it safe for rescue operations, and providing pre-hospital trauma medical support to injured individuals.
- Extinguish or control fires, mobilize rescue equipment, and assist in preserving evidence.
- Attend emergency response training, exercises, and drills to stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with the Mines Rescue Captain to deliver a high-quality security service, ensuring the safety and security of clients' buildings and assets.
- Act as a visible and commanding security presence, promoting safe work practices and reporting any findings to the Mines Rescue Captain.
- Engage in conflict resolution, greeting, and directing visitors, and maintaining a high level of health and fitness appropriate to the role.
- Prior experience as a Security Officer in the security industry.
- A valid SIA Licence or current certificate of completion of SIA training.
- Excellent communication and literacy skills, with the ability to learn and operate our training and competence systems.
- Strong organizational, planning, and creative skills, with the ability to develop flexible solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Triton Risk Management offers a competitive salary and a 10% on-call payment, providing a comprehensive compensation package for the successful candidate.
