Mines Rescue Specialist

Triton Risk Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mines Rescue Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for providing enhanced security services and responding to emergency situations in a mines rescue capacity.

• Provide a professional and proactive security service to clients, engaging with them to understand their needs and concerns.
• Respond to emergency situations, reporting to the Mines Rescue Captain for instructions and taking charge of securing the scene and evacuating personnel.
• Assist in stabilizing the area, making it safe for rescue operations, and providing pre-hospital trauma medical support to injured individuals.
• Extinguish or control fires, mobilize rescue equipment, and assist in preserving evidence.
• Attend emergency response training, exercises, and drills to stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the Mines Rescue Captain to deliver a high-quality security service, ensuring the safety and security of clients' buildings and assets.
• Act as a visible and commanding security presence, promoting safe work practices and reporting any findings to the Mines Rescue Captain.
• Engage in conflict resolution, greeting, and directing visitors, and maintaining a high level of health and fitness appropriate to the role.

• Prior experience as a Security Officer in the security industry.
• A valid SIA Licence or current certificate of completion of SIA training.
• Excellent communication and literacy skills, with the ability to learn and operate our training and competence systems.
• Strong organizational, planning, and creative skills, with the ability to develop flexible solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
