We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our Diabetes and Endocrinology services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders
- Lead and manage clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines
- Participate in teaching and training of medical and nursing staff
- Engage in clinical governance and quality improvement activities
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- MB ChB or MBBS (or equivalent)
- MRCP (UK)
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview) or CESR or European Community Rights
- Full registration with the GMC and licence to practise (or eligible for)
- Eligible for specialist register in Diab & Endo/GIM
