Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our Diabetes and Endocrinology services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders
* Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
* Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols
* Participate in education and training programs for healthcare professionals
Person Specification:
* MB ChB or MBBS (or equivalent)
* MRCP (UK)
* Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview) or CESR or European Community Rights
* Full registration with the GMC and licence to practise (or eligible for)
Desirable Qualifications:
* MD/PhD
* Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians
Key Skills:
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge of diabetes and endocrine disorders
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working Arrangements:
* Full-time position
* On-call commitments
* Flexible working arrangements considered
