About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology to join our team at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical services, and contributing to the development of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders
  • Lead and manage clinical services, including inpatient and outpatient care
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes
  • Participate in teaching and education, including training and mentoring junior staff
Requirements
  • MB ChB (or equivalent) and MRCP (or equivalent)
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and higher degree (such as MD or PhD)
  • Full registration with the GMC and licence to practice
  • Experience in diabetes and endocrinology medicine, with a CCT in Geriatric and General Medicine (or equivalent training)
