About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Premier Foods, based at our Ashford site. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a pipeline of suitable projects, leading compilation of capital authority request documentation, engaging end-users in engineering scope development, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project management, and customer focus. They will also have demonstrable experience in delivering successful engineering capital projects in the FMCG sector, with an emphasis on specification, planning, implementation, and validation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project pipelines, including feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis
  • Lead compilation of capital authority request documentation and narrative
  • Engage end-users in engineering scope development and ensure compliance with CDM requirements
  • Manage health and safety aspects of capital projects
  • Report project progress, tracking milestones, activities, priorities, and financials
