About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our team at Prestige Nursing & Care in Bristol. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services to our clients, meeting and exceeding legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake domiciliary care risk and manual handling assessments on new clients/service users prior to the provision of a domiciliary care service.
  • Maintain an effective system for quality assurance management, working closely with the Field Care Manager or Care Planner and Branch Manager to ensure standards and indicators are clearly defined and monitored on a continuous basis.
  • Meet with domiciliary care workers formally on a one-to-one basis for direct supervision at least quarterly, keeping written records of the content and outcome of each meeting.
  • Assist the Field Care Manager or Care Planner and Branch Manager with the delivery of a care assistants' development and training programme to ensure members are able to meet the changing needs of clients and service users.
  • Participate in an on-call roster, providing and coordinating cover for unplanned absence to maintain the service.
Requirements
  • Experience of supervising others within a healthcare setting.
  • Articulate with the ability to put across ideas succinctly and clearly.
  • Holding a valid UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable, but other travel arrangements are possible and will be taken into consideration.
  • Excellent assessment skills.
  • Office-based role with a requirement to visit clients in their own homes, requiring experience of working on own initiative, self-starting, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively.
