Your Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced care professional to join our Bristol branch as a Field Care Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing systems to ensure the delivery of domiciliary care services that meet and exceed legislative standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct domiciliary care risk and manual handling assessments on new clients/service users prior to the provision of a domiciliary care service.
  • Maintain an effective system for quality assurance management, in consultation with the Field Care Manager or Care Planner and Branch Manager, to ensure standards and indicators are clearly defined and monitored on a continuous basis.
  • Meet domiciliary care workers formally on a one-to-one basis for direct supervision at least quarterly and keep written records on the content and outcome of each meeting.
  • Assist the Field Care Manager or Care Planner and Branch Manager with the delivery of a care assistants' development and training programme to ensure members are able to fulfill and meet the changing needs of clients and service users.
  • Participate in an on-call roster providing and coordinating cover for unplanned absence to maintain the service.

Requirements:

  • Experience of supervising others within a healthcare setting.
  • Articulate with the ability to put across ideas succinctly and clearly.
  • Holding a valid UK driving license and access to a car is desirable, however other travel arrangements are possible and will be taken into consideration.
  • Excellent assessment skills.
  • Office-based role with a requirement to visit clients in their own homes, experience of working on own initiative – self-starter, able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
