Social Care Professional

Midlothian Council is seeking a skilled Senior Family Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work and experience working with vulnerable children and families.
The role involves supervising and supporting family wellbeing practitioners to provide high-quality systemic support to families in Midlothian. You will work in partnership with multi-agency colleagues to create bespoke plans that support families to overcome obstacles with housing, finances, education, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support family wellbeing practitioners
- Provide high-quality systemic support to families
- Work in partnership with multi-agency colleagues
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in social work
- Experience working with vulnerable children and families
Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 per annum
Benefits:
- Permanent contract
- 36 hours per week
- Monday to Friday working pattern
