Job Overview:
Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a dedicated Autism Support Assistant to join their team of professionals in supporting children with SEN needs. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic development and in-school engagement of students with Autism.

The ideal candidate will be a patient, calm individual with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively under supervision and provide personalized support to pupils.

About the Role:
This Autism Support Assistant position requires the ability to develop and prepare engaging materials for individual learning, maintain accurate records of pupil observations, and collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and preparing educational materials tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Maintaining detailed records of pupil progress and feedback to parents
  • Providing general teaching assistant support in class where required

Person Specification:
The successful candidate will hold a Psychology or related degree from a Top 20 UK University, possess a patient and calming manner, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
