Job Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced compliance professional to lead our global Financial Crime, Regulatory Monitoring and Investigations team.

The Regulatory Monitoring and Investigations Head will be responsible for overseeing the team's performance and output, ensuring compliance with key areas of financial crime, including AML/CTF regimes and requirements.

This is a senior-level role that requires a deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including MLRs and POCA, the Bribery Act, and FCPA. The successful candidate will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret detailed information and develop clear recommendations.

About the Job:

  • Lead the Financial Crime and Regulatory Monitoring teams (around 30 team members globally)
  • Develop a phased programme of work for ongoing monitoring and screening, inspections/remediations
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various workstreams within the programme
  • Drive towards target team shape and structure with clearly defined remits

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or another relevant field
  • Demonstrable experience in a compliance or in-house legal leadership role in an international law firm or professional services environment
  • Extensive experience of people management, including leading large operational teams and devising and driving people initiatives
  • Proven track record of delivering change, including complex projects that optimise technology/automation

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
