The Regulatory Monitoring Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of compliance controls within MERJE's business. This position involves undertaking risk-based second-line monitoring functions, reviewing compliance controls, and collaborating with the Head of Regulatory Compliance & Risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review compliance controls to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Assist the Head of Regulatory Compliance & Risk in delivering the annual routine compliance monitoring plan.
  • Identify and report on areas of high risk.
  • Develop and implement processes to mitigate risk.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a compliance monitoring role.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning markets and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
