Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Business Group Director to lead our Building Engineering Services (BES) Business Group in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective business strategies, driving business growth, and fostering a culture of excellence within the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and revenue within the BES Business Group.
- Lead a team of Area Business Group Managers and key personnel to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Regional Operations Directors, Area Managers, and Market Sector Directors to drive business strategies and improve performance.
- Mentor and develop Area Business Group Managers and key personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management plans for projects.
- Participate in project reviews and provide guidance on quality management systems.
- Assist in the identification and prioritization of regional strategic hires and in the recruiting of new candidates.
- Review marketing forecasts and staff alignment with backlog.
- Lead the annual planning process and budgeting for the BES Business Group.
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering, or closely related field.
- Minimum 12 years' experience in a related field, preferably with experience in leading diverse teams.
- Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, leadership, and team management.
- Ability to work cooperatively with regional managers, area managers, market sector directors, and business development teams.
