About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Development Manager to join our Booker Group team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth in your region through the recruitment of new customers and identifying opportunities for existing retailers.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business growth targets
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Managing a defined territory with responsibility for sales, debt, margin, cash profit, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solution-focused sales approach with a natural desire to problem-solve and be resilient in the face of challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with the local area and social and economic factors affecting it
  • A full UK driving license
