About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Shift Manager to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and support your team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks to ensure smooth store operations
- Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed and grow
- Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
- Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure efficient store operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
Requirements
- Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team
- Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to remain calm in any situation
- Passion to thrive as a key part of the store team
- Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations

- Competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures
- Extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts
