Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bioquell Service Engineer to join our team at Ecolab. As a key member of our Life Science Division, you will be responsible for the service, installation, breakdown, repair, and calibration of our innovative bio-decontamination equipment used in life sciences, healthcare, and pharmaceutical environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown calls on customer equipment, adhering to company procedures.
  • Liaise with the Service Department daily to determine the work program.
  • Perform all Contract Servicing as arranged with the service scheduler, ensuring the most cost-effective work program is carried out.
  • Follow product service, repair, and installation method statements.
  • Install equipment in accordance with British and European Standards, following all safety guidelines and instructions issued as agreed with the client.
  • Record all work information electronically or on the appropriate Service Report, ensuring customer approval of the work completed.
  • Submit accurate weekly details of time worked and expenses incurred in the fulfillment of the work, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Travel to work locations in the UK or abroad as required.
Requirements
  • Hold a full UK driving license and valid passport.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in servicing and maintaining electro-mechanical systems and products, with strong technical diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Strong background in electro-mechanical/electronic principles, ideally qualified to HND/HNC level or equivalent.
