About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Fareham. As a key member of our Adult Community Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in providing support services to carers and families of individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs.

With a strong focus on collaboration and partnership working, you will work closely with carers, family members, and partner agencies to deliver high-quality care and support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and practical assistance to carers and families of individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with NHS standards and regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Previous experience in care or a related field.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • A valid driving license and access to a suitable vehicle for work purposes.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £24,071 - £25,674 per annum, based on full-time hours. We offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for career development, training, and collaborative working.
