Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Conference and Events Coordinator to join our Meeting and Events sales team at The Met Hotel, Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming Conference and Event enquiries from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Conduct show rounds and tours for prospective clients, showcasing and selling our beautiful hotel and meeting spaces.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure they have the best possible experience in the run-up to their event.
  • Use a keen eye for detail to ensure all event details are translated to the system and handed over to the Operations Team, ensuring the smooth running of the event.
  • Exceed customers' expectations and be motivated to continually develop service levels.
  • Answer any questions, via email and phone, to ensure that all queries are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Obtain client feedback and make appropriate changes for improvements.
  • Drive sales activities through strategic planning and client engagement.
