Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team at Optimal Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, acting as the main point of contact
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the property maintenance industry
- Generate leads and follow up on potential clients
- Conduct client meetings and presentations, showcasing the value of our products and services
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and deliver exceptional service
- Forecast and track sales metrics, providing regular reports to management
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market changes, and competitors
- Track client base growth and report to management
- Oversee and manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using CRM software
- Handle customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the property maintenance industry is a plus
- Understanding of market trends and competitors
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Competitive basic salary of between £28,000 - £35,000 plus a fantastic bonus scheme
