Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Manager to join our Professional Development team at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS FT. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the processes that underpin the Professional Development agenda relating to pre and post-registration clinical students and apprentices.

Main Duties
  • Manage the processes that ensure the correct collation of accurate information for placement mapping, student allocation, student placement activity, and support mechanisms for the clinical student agenda.
  • Ensure that accurate placement mapping, allocations, and student placement activity information translates into appropriate monthly reports that are submitted to the Professional Development Managers for Pre- and Post-Registration students (AHP & Nursing) and Apprenticeships.
  • Coordinate the BCHC, Higher Education Institutions, Further Education Institutions, and NHS England reporting processes under the direction of the Head of Clinical Education and Professional Development, ensuring that the processes are accessible to all of the clinical student workstreams for Nursing, AHP, and Apprenticeships, queries and responses dealt with in a timely manner, and a monthly summary report submitted to the Head of Clinical Education and Professional Development.
  • Manage the coordination and administrative responsibilities for functions such as seminars, conferences, workshops, clinical student forums, induction, and feedback/debrief sessions, including venues, speakers, room layout, programs, handouts, and so on, associated with the Nursing, AHP, and Apprenticeship workstreams and education and training events across the Trust.
