Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Contracts Manager to join our team at Energy Jobline. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale landscaping projects from start to finish.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our clients, contract supervisors, and site foremen to ensure that all aspects of the project are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage large-scale landscaping projects, including hard and soft landscaping works.
  2. Liaise with clients, contract supervisors, and site foremen to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  3. Ensure compliance with all aspects of Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  4. Monitor and manage cost control effectively to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  5. Recruit and manage a team of contract supervisors and site foremen to ensure effective project delivery.
  6. Procure materials and subcontracted works within budget.
  7. Assist with business development and support our estimating team where required.
  8. Champion and ensure compliance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  9. Ensure sites are managed in a clean, safe, and tidy manner.
  10. Check timesheets and attendance and report variations.
  11. Assist in the preparation of tender documentation, cost analyses, and procurement plans.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience of Construction (Design & Management) and a strong understanding of landscaping projects.
  2. Professional and proactive approach with excellent influencing and communication skills.
  3. Commercial acumen, including accurate cost control, efficient procurement, and production of timely valuations.
  4. Effective management of site agents and resolution of disputes.
  5. Good contractual awareness, including experience of managing works in accordance with JCT contracts.
  6. Understanding of Health and Safety compliance and ISOH Regulations.
  7. Good computer skills across all Microsoft programmes.
  8. CSCS Card and ideally SMSTS / SSSTS.
  9. Full clean UK driving licence.
