Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale landscaping projects, including hard and soft landscaping works.
- Liaise with clients, contract supervisors, and site foremen to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor and manage cost control effectively to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Recruit and manage a team of contract supervisors and site foremen to ensure effective project delivery.
- Procure materials and subcontracted works within budget.
- Assist with business development and support our estimating team where required.
- Champion and ensure compliance with site-specific policies and procedures.
- Ensure sites are managed in a clean, safe, and tidy manner.
- Check timesheets and attendance and report variations.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documentation, cost analyses, and procurement plans.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of Construction (Design & Management) and a strong understanding of landscaping projects.
- Professional and proactive approach with excellent influencing and communication skills.
- Commercial acumen, including accurate cost control, efficient procurement, and production of timely valuations.
- Effective management of site agents and resolution of disputes.
- Good contractual awareness, including experience of managing works in accordance with JCT contracts.
- Understanding of Health and Safety compliance and ISOH Regulations.
- Good computer skills across all Microsoft programmes.
- CSCS Card and ideally SMSTS / SSSTS.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
