Company OverviewThe Workshop, a leading provider of maintenance services, is seeking an experienced Helpdesk Operations Manager to join our team.
Job DescriptionThis is a challenging and rewarding role that involves managing the day-to-day operations of our helpdesk team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and support.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the helpdesk team, ensuring that they are equipped to handle customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
You will also be responsible for coordinating with our maintenance teams to ensure that repairs and maintenance work are carried out efficiently and effectively.
In addition, you will be required to provide coaching and training to the helpdesk team to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the helpdesk team to ensure that customer inquiries are handled in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that repairs and maintenance work are carried out efficiently and effectively
- Provide coaching and training to the helpdesk team to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
- Monitor and report on customer satisfaction levels
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a maintenance or facilities management environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance trades and systems
