We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Slough.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes and be able to maintain accurate records and ledgers.

About the Role

The role involves processing and paying invoices, expense forms, and requests for payment, as well as supporting with month-end reporting and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical and organisational skills, as well as strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Process and pay invoices, expense forms, and requests for payment
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Support with month-end reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
  • Liaise with suppliers and resolve any financial discrepancies
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Assist with other accounting projects
Requirements
  • An educational background in finance, accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Strong numeracy and organisational skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
