Young Carers Partnership Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Youth Carer Partnership Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with young carers, teams within the Council and its partners, and other relevant providers.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new models of work and service under the supervision of the Young Carers Lead. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and entering records of activities in accordance with approved Policies and Procedures, including the use of a computer system database (i.e. Liquid Logic).
- Providing first point of contact for young carers by being part of the ongoing support line rota.
- Supporting in the organising and co-ordination of Young Carers group sessions and recreational activities, including preparing programme of support sessions and activity dates, booking and arranging trips, researching places of interest for trips and activities, monitoring costs of activity trips, and co-ordinating, attending, and leading group sessions during school holidays and evenings.
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
