About the Role
Shropshire Council is seeking a skilled professional to join our carer support team in Adult Social Care. As a Carer Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a carer-friendly community in Shropshire, delivering essential support and information to family and unpaid carers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to achieving positive outcomes for carers in our community. This full-time (or part-time equivalent) position involves working closely with colleagues to develop strategies that promote a supportive environment for carers. We are advertising for a 22.5 hours per week post, with some flexibility in hours available.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
