Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Educational Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team at Outcomes First Group. This exciting opportunity will see you working with schools to support the development of therapeutic environments and implement Trauma Informed and Neurodiversity Affirming practice.

About the Role

  • You will provide psychological assessment and intervention for pupils, offering guidance for education teams and communicating with families/carers and specialist agencies.
  • You will work alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, and Assistant Psychologists to deliver professional development training and supervise agreed members of the clinical team.
  • The ideal candidate will be creative and passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with complex needs, with experience working with people with complex SEN needs and strong skills in assessment and report writing.

Key Accountabilities

  • To provide high-quality psychological assessments and interventions for pupils, ensuring effective communication with education teams and families/carers.
  • To offer expert guidance to education teams on how to best support pupils with complex needs.
  • To supervise and support agreed members of the clinical team, promoting their professional development.
  • To communicate effectively with specialist agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and positive outcomes for pupils.
