What You'll Do:
Leadership and Management: As a Laboratory Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the Quality Control (QC) laboratory, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. You'll manage and mentor a team of analysts, helping them develop their skills and ensuring high-quality testing procedures.
Testing and Quality Control: Conduct and verify analytical testing using HPLC and GC techniques, maintaining and improving lab standards to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Manufacturing and Collaboration: Collaborate with the production team to ensure schedules are met, enabling the business to operate efficiently.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by developing and validating new methods and techniques to enhance laboratory processes.
What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience: A degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, forensic science, pharmaceutical science, or similar, with a background in the pharmaceutical industry and a solid understanding of GMP.
Skills and Qualifications: Hands-on experience with HPLC and GC, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage teams and prioritize effectively.
What You'll Receive:
Salary and Benefits: £50,000 - £55,000, dependent on skills and experience, plus a discretionary bonus of up to 20%, zero-cost healthcare, and a contributory pension scheme.
