What you’ll do as the Laboratory Manager
You will oversee the Quality Control (QC) laboratory, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of analysts, helping them develop their skills and ensuring high-quality testing procedures.
Testing: Conducting and verifying analytical testing using HPLC and GC techniques.
Standards: Maintaining and improving lab standards, ensuring a clean and organised work environment.
Driving continuous improvement by developing and validating new methods and techniques to enhance laboratory processes.
A degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, forensic science, pharmaceutical science, or similar.
A background in the pharmaceutical industry, with a solid understanding of GMP. This could have been gained as a laboratory manager, QC manager, quality control manager, etc.
Hands-on experience with HPLC and GC and the willingness to carry out testing using them.
Bonus: After probation, you will be eligible for a discretionary bonus of up to 20%, subject to personal and company performance.
