Job Summary
Taylorollinson Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Inorganic Chemist to join our team as a Laboratory Manager. As a key member of our analytical chemistry department, you will be responsible for leading a small team of junior scientists and supporting the Team Leader/Lab Manager with the coordination of the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of junior scientists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader/Lab Manager to develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Prepare laboratory samples and reagents, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Existing UK work eligibility is essential.
- BSc/MSc or equivalent work experience in Chemistry or a related field is required.
- Prior industry experience with analytical techniques, such as GC-MS, GC, HPLC, and LC-MS, is essential.
- Prior experience supervising/training junior staff members is required.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with ion chromatography and/or combustion chemistry are essential.
