We are seeking an experienced Senior Inorganic Chemist to join our team at Taylorollinson Ltd.
About the Role
As a Senior Inorganic Chemist, you will be responsible for managing a small team of junior scientists, supporting the Team Leader/Lab Manager with coordination of the lab, preparing laboratory samples and reagents, and equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of junior scientists in analytical chemistry tasks
- Collaborate with the Team Leader/Lab Manager to ensure smooth lab operations
- Prepare and analyze laboratory samples and reagents
- Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Chemistry or equivalent work experience
- Prior industry experience with analytical techniques (e.g., GC-MS, GC, HPLC, LC-MS)
- Prior experience supervising/training junior staff members
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with ion chromatography and/or combustion chemistry
What We Offer
Competitive salary range of £27,000-£29,000, depending on interview performance and experience. Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and development.
